These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") cover your use of and access to the sites, templates, trainings, applications, tools and features provided by Fight Like A Girl. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how it’s used and shared.

1. Interpretation and Variation

1.1 In the Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

“Company” means Fight Like A Girl “Participant” means any person that has signed a Registration Form or ticked the Waiver box online which has been accepted by the Company. “Registration Form” means the registration and application form submitted by each participant. “Affiliates” means any of the Affiliates of Fight Like A Girl as published on our website from time to time. “Terms and Conditions” as defined here.

“Website” means www.fightlikeagirl.co.za or affiliated websites.

1.2 The Terms and Conditions are incorporated into the Registration Form.

1.3 The Company reserves the right to vary or revoke any of the Terms and Conditions from time to time which it may consider necessary or suitable for the regulation of the governance and the conduct of Participants. Any such changes will be published on our websites until revoked, are binding on Participants.

1.4 The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of South Africa and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Durban courts.

2. Agreement

2.1 Subject to condition 2.2, when a person has submitted a Registration Form or ticked the terms and conditions online, they shall become a Participant of the assigned training or event.

2.2 Acceptance of a person as a Participant is at the discretion of the Company.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or refuse to renew the Agreement of any Participant whose conduct is, or may deemed to be in the Company’s reasonable opinion, injurious to the character of the training or amounts to a breach of the Terms and Conditions or where such expulsion is otherwise to be in the interests of the other Participants of the training. Any Participant so expelled shall forfeit all privileges to the Agreement and shall not be entitled to any refund for any period during which his or her Agreement is suspended.

3. Events

Details of class dates, times and location vary from time to time. All event details will be published on our Website.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Details of prices are available on our website or shall be such prices as determined by the Company from time to time.

4.2 Subject to any statutory right of cancellation, payments for events and annual payments are made non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions.

4.3 Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Events and Affiliate Training programs with the Company are non-refundable. They can be credited and used for another event, if notice is given with a minimum of 7 days prior to the event date due to unforeseen circumstances (exceptions made for certain medical/personal circumstances at the Company’s discretion). Deposits however are non-refundable.

4.4. If training courses, workshops, seminars or events should not fill up to the minimum required participants, the class may be cancelled and the participant's payment will be refunded or transferred to another training date.

5. Personal Belongings

Personal belongings are brought into the training premises at the Participant’s risk. The Company does not accept liability for any loss or damage whatever to such items.

6. Fitness & Health

6.1 Participants are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activities without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition. The Company reserves the right to refuse access to any Participant if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by participating in a training.

6.2 Participants and their guests must notify the trainer of any circumstances affecting their health, which may be exacerbated through continued use.

6.3 Participants are required to follow the instructions of the teacher at all times.

7. Dress

Participants are requested to wear comfortable clothing such as tracksuit pants, a t-shirt and takkies. No shoes with any kind of heel is allowed in the training area.

8. Safety and Hygiene

8.1 Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.

8.2 In the event of a fire, Participants are asked to make their way to the nearest available exit.

9. General Guidelines

9.1 Participants must at all times observe the trainers guidelines which may be notified to them from time to time and are requested to comply with any reasonable directions which the trainer may issue to ensure the smooth operation of the training for the convenience of all Participants.

9.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse admission to the training facility.

9.3 The Company may, if a Participant so wishes, communicate with the Participant by “email”. By providing an email address to the Company the Participant consents to receiving email communications from the Company, including notices pursuant to the Terms and Conditions. The Participant also accepts any risk that email may not be a fully secure and confidential means of communication. The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of communicating with a Participant in this manner.

9.4 The Company takes photo's and video's during their Seminars. By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you hereby grant permission to the Company to use these photo's and video's on their website and social media pages for marketing and training purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 The Company cannot be held responsible for any service or equipment not being available for whatever reason. The Company reserves the right to make alterations to the types of facilities provided, without notice and in its absolute discretion. The Company shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except in so far as loss is by law incapable of exclusion.

10.2 It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any program that they follow or event that they attend. Participants accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any program or training. The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to property or injury of Participants or their guests to them on the training premises or outside the training location except in so far as such loss, damage, or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.

10.3 The Company does not guarantee in any way that by attending a Lecture, Seminar, Workshop or Event that you will never be attacked or that you will be successful in defending youself with the techniques that you have learnt. The Company will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury to person or property of any nature. The Company is released from any liability of any nature including negligence. The techniques taught and learnt are for recreational purposes, The Company can not be held resposible and is released from any liability in the use of these techniques and any loss, damage or injury to person or property of an nature in any scenario.

11. Website Terms and Conditions

Information published on this website is provided for the use of its visitors and you are advised that, although care has been taken to ensure technical and factual accuracy, some errors may occur. No guarantee is given of the accuracy or completeness of information on these pages. Please be aware that the Company may alter the information on its website from time to time. The Company shall have no liability arising from the use by any party of the information on this website. The Company does not warrant the information on this website in any way and in particular no warranty is given that the website or its contents or hypertext links are virus free or uncontaminated. 12. Return/ Refund Policy

12.1 Cancellations within 7 days before the training or event will not be refunded.

12.2 Cancellations prior to 7 days before the training or event will receive a credit towards a future class based on availability and similar cost.

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorised employees and agents have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from our sites allow you to opt out of further mailings.
